Scholarships available
Merit scholarship
Up to 100% tuition waiver based on 12th board / qualifying-exam score.
Need-based scholarship
Fee concession for students from economically weaker sections (EWS).
Girl-child scholarship
Additional 10% waiver for female applicants across all programmes.
Sports scholarship
Up to 50% waiver for state and national level athletes.
Sikkim domicile
Extra 5% waiver for permanent Sikkim residents.
Sibling scholarship
10% waiver on second child's fees when both siblings study at SVU.
EMI & education loans
SVU has tie-ups with major public and private banks for education loans covering the full tuition, hostel and mess fees. EMI plans are also offered directly through our finance partners with tenures of 12–48 months.
