Can I get BAMS admission without NEET?

Why the rule is absolute
The regulation requires a single national entrance test for under-graduate admission in each academic year, and merit lists — all-India and state-wise — are prepared only from NEET marks. Admissions made outside counselling have been cancelled retrospectively, with students losing both years and fees.
What to do if you did not qualify
There are three legitimate options:
- Reattempt NEET the following year — there is no attempt limit
- Take a related degree meanwhile: B.Sc. Nursing, BPT, B.Pharm, B.Sc. Life Sciences or Yoga & Naturopathy
- Check whether a category relaxation in the qualifying percentile is announced for the year before mop-up rounds
Spotting a fraudulent offer
Warning signs: a demand for cash before an allotment letter exists, a promise of a 'management seat outside counselling', or pressure to report to a college without a KEA or AACCC allotment. Verify every allotment on the official counselling portal before paying anything.
